Ingredients

2 cups elbow macaroni

uncooked 12 oz Velveeta

Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut into 1/2 inch cubes

1/3 cup evaporated milk

Salt and Ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Cook macaroni in a large saucepan as directed on package; drain well. (I used Kitchen HQ AutoLifting MultiFunctional IntelliPot )

2.Transfer to another saucepan.

3. Stir in remaining ingredients, cook on low heat until cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently.

4. Serve warm and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS 1/4 Cup Yellow popcorn kernels

1 Tablespoon vegetable oil ( I use Sunflower oil)

Kosher salt (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the base of the corn popper on a dry, level surface , away from any edge.

Place the corn and vegetable oil into the popping base.

Spread corn evenly over poppin surface.

Do not substitute butter, margarine, shortening, or lard for vegetable oil as these will burn or smoke excessively.

Place the cover on the popping base, making sure the handles of the cover fit securely into the handles of the popping base.

Remove the cap. Plug cord.

Press the ON/OFF switch to “ON”.

The stir rod will rotate as long as the corn popper is on.

Do not shake popper during popping cycle. in 4-5 minutes the poppin cycle will be completed.

Turn the ON/OFF switch to “OFF”.

Popcorn is now ready for serving.

Sprinkle popcorn with salt if desired.

How to make Rice Krispies Treats

Always my favorite, Make it one of your favorites too!

Ingredients

8 cups  Rice Krispies cereal 

8 tablespoons unsalted or salted butter

10 ounce package miniature marshmallows

1/2 teaspoon  pure vanilla extract

Procedure

Procedure

Place the rice cereal in a large bowl.

Melt the butter in the saucepan over medium low heat.

Add the marshmallows and stir constantly heatproof spatula, until the marshmallows have completely melted. 

Add the vanilla extract and add the rice cereal.

Stir until all the cereal has been coated.

Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13 baking pan and pat until even. 

Cool at room temperature until the Rice Krispies Treats have set. 

Cut into squares. 

Store at room temperature or in the refrigerator to keep nice and crispy.

Atchara is a pickle made from grated unripe papaya very popular in the Philippines. Served often as a side dish for fried or grilled foods such as pork barbecue. May fav, Make it your favorite recipe too!

Ingredients:

1 large green papaya 1 tablespoon salt

1 large carrot

1 red bell pepper

1 green bell pepper

1 large onion

2 cups coconut vinegar

1 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt

10-15 whole black peppercorns

1 garlic clove

2-inch ginger

Procedure: Peel the papaya. 

Cut in half and remove the seeds. 

Grate the flesh. 

Place green papaya in a bowl and add the salt.

Mix well and allow to sit for an hour.

In the meantime, prep the other vegetables.

Grate the carrot. 

Thinly slice the bell peppers, onion and ginger. 

After an hour, squeeze the green papaya to get rid of excess liquid. 

Mix green papaya together with the prepped vegetables, except ginger.

In a small saucepan, heat the vinegar over low.

 Add the sugar, salt, black peppercorns, garlic clove and thinly-sliced ginger. Heat until sugar and salt have dissolved. 

Let cool. Pour over vegetables. 

Store in a container, cover tightly and refrigerate overnight.

Fresh preserving Atsara in jars. Serve as a condiment to a variety of dishes.

INGREDIENTS
10 Cups plain popped popcorn
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup dark corn syrup (Karo)
1 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
Place the popped popcorn into two deep baking pans.
You may use roasting pans or disposable roasting pans.
Set aside. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
Combine the butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a non-stick saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat. stirring constantly for 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat, and stir in the baking soda and vanilla.
The mixture will be light and foamy. Immediately pour over the popcorn in the pans, and stir to coat.
Bake for 1 hour, removing the pans, and giving them each a good stir and break apart every 15 minutes.
Allow to cool completely. Serve or store in airtight containers or resealable…

INGREDIENTS:

5 cups red yams, (Kamote) cooked and drained

1 ( 8 oz. can ) crushed pineapple and juice

2 tablespoons light brown sugar

2 tablespoons butter, melted

¼ cup chopped pecans

¾ cup miniature marshmallows

10 cups water

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook the yams in boiling water over medium heat.

Drain the yams well.

Into the casserole dish, add the yams and mash well.

Add the pineapple with the  juice to the mashed yams.

Add the brown sugar and the melted butter and mix well.

Bake  for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle the marshmallows and pecans over the top.  

Bake for 5 -10 more minutes or until the marshmallows begin to brown. I

There are several variations of chicken chow mein.

This Chow Mein recipe is just better than what you get at your favorite Chinese restaurant. Home made with lean chicken, (no antibiotics), fresh vegetables and flavorful tender noodles.

Ingredients

1 16 oz Excellent Pancit Canton Noodles

1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips

2 Tbsp olive oil

3 cups thinly sliced cabbage

1 small carrot, julienned

2/3 cups spring onions, chopped (separate the green and white part)

3 garlic cloves, minced

3 Tbsp Silver Swan Special Soy Sauce

1 Tbsp lemon juice

1 Tbsp corn starch

Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Add chicken to a bowl and combine with corn starch. Set aside.

2. Prepare noodles according to directions on the package.

3. Drain and set asideHeat oil in a wok, over medium high heat, Fry garlic until golden brown and fragrant.

4. Add chicken , saute until cooked through.

5. Place the carrots and onions (white part) in. Saute for 2 minutes.

6. Add remaining veggies, saute until veggies are all crisp tender.

7. Add the noodles in. Season with salt , pepper, soy sauce and lemon juice over top and toss to coat.

8. Plate and garnish with onions (green part). Serve warm and enjoy!
